Hi you. I am a graphic designer, a creative and my name is Célestine.

Being very passionate about design, interior design, architecture, photography, paper, materials and art, I graduated in visual design at Luca school of Arts in Ghent, Belgium. The main key for me is doing a lot of brainstorming and research, it’s all about creating something powerful with lots of fun. I worked as a graphic design intern and later as an employee in a Graphic Design Studio in Knokke. Beside others, also for an atypical, beautiful clothing shop in Ghent who's very aware of design and is all about 'thinking out of the box'. I usually do assignments on a self-employed basis. Currently i’m working at grab a chair, Ghent.

Photography

Capturing moments is one of my favorite things to do.

To share how I see the world and show how I hold on to memories of my

family, traveling, art exhibitions and so much more.

Enjoy

Postcard, print and t-shirt design

The women who inspired me in every possible way

My beautiful grandmother introduced me into the world of art, the world of design, the world of architecture, the world of music, the world of loving someone, the world of having a grandmother and being a grandchild.

Sustainable art wear

One day my grandmother asked me to make some postcards of her aquarell paintings because she wanted to send them to the family and her friends as Christmas and holiday wishes. That’s how everything started and how the idea rised of making t-shirts.

Logo and brand identity

IQUAS transforms used, high-end materials into smart, sustainable designs.

One of the most important thing for them is to give old objects a 'second life'.

With this logo I wanted to create a representation of a ‘start button’,

the new life, the start of something.

The main goal was creating an atypical wine label, inspired by vinyl records. The texture is inspired from the wine grapes.

the idea and project.

The idea

One day I was walking in the garden and noticed that our geese were moulting. I picked up a few feathers and asked myself if I could make paper out of it, the challenge was making a new kind of, 100% ecological paper.

Another view and perspective in the paper industry.

vegetable garden

reflect on day-to-day things

Unnoticed | fictional project description

How to stimulate senses by consciously choosing that one “aubergine”?

The Foodmaker wanted to convey a social message to their customers and show them to reflect on day-to-day things again. Being aware of what we eat and reflect on their choses. What stimulates the customer to choose, for example, that aubergine over the others?

There is an abundance of choices and we no longer dwell on daily, regular little things. Overconsumption and overproduction play a major role in the project.

It is very important to be aware of what we eat and to feed ourselves with healthy, basic ingredients. The Foodmaker creates a vegetable garden, full of aubergines in the city of Ghent. A place where the customer can choose his own aubergine, by using all his senses. Which shape, texture, colour, size,,ripeness of the vegetable will the visitor be attracted to?

Afterwards, the Foodmaker will prepare a healthy, tasty, vegetarian and last but not least irresistible dish with the chosen vegetables. The intention is to give a unique and personal experience, to be fully immersed in the one and only

“Vegetable garden full of aubergines".

Unnoticed | material

Jesmonite + aubergine paper

The interior is fully furnished by a mixture of my own created aubergine paper added with Jesmonite.

Jesmonite is a casting material with natural minerals, based on water.
